XSLTMagic is an application demonstrating what XSLT can do when applied to XML document. In order to demonstrate how XSLT works we need XML file that contains some information and XSLT file that describes how transformation will be performed. In order to make example more practical I'm using XML feed provided by
www.gurulink.ca. Actual feed could be found
here. XSLT files used are slightly modified copy of file provided by gurulink.ca.
Run XSLTMagic.exe, select one of xslt files provided (or create your own). Click Transform button. If no errors were encountered, two new tubs become available: transformed XML view and transformed XML rendered as XHTML page.
Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 or later must be installed in order for XSLTMagic be able to work. .Net Framework is a free download:

FileInfoBrowser is a useful utility, that let you view file information (like Company, File Version, Copyright & etc ). Multiple files could be selected at once which provides fast view of the whole folder of files. Application is very easy to use and it provides both list view and tree view data representation. Files could be filtered by type (DLL's, OCX's, EXE's). Drag and drop is supported as well. Another important feature is a possibility to save information as a report in different formats: HTML, XML, Text. Bottom line is: if you have many files that you want to extract file info from this utility is for you.
Run FileInfoBrowser.exe. Main window presents controls to select folder where your files reside. Right click on anywhere in file list window. Context menu will present two options. To select all files in a given folder select Select All menu command. To select individual file pick Add. After selection, you'll be taken to File info tab where selected files will be shown together with file information extracted. File entries are color coded: red - no file information was available; blue - partial file information was extracted; green - all file information was successfuly extracted. When you right click on a second tab, additional options become available.
